While Nu-Dimensions YouthBuild provides academic, leadership, and career preparation resources, work experience and placement is the cornerstone of the YouthBuild program. As such, our employment and work experience partners are integral to the success of our students. Through them, YouthBuild students gain valuable hands-on experience in the field and learn first-hand the requirements of the construction field. Hickory Mechanical
Hickory Mechanical provides a variety of work experiences for YouthBuild students to hone their skills with ranging from HVAC, piping, mechanical work, and industrial work. They have recently agreed to work with YouthBuild in collaboration with the Champion Scholars program at CVCC to provide work experience opportunities to our students.
David E. Looper and Company
David E. Looper and Company (Delco) was the first employment partner to connect with Nu-Dimensions YouthBuild, and we are excited to work with them to give our students opportunities to workwith one of the largest construction companies in North Carolina. Delco branches can be found all along the South East, providing students an opportunity to grow and move with this large business.
